Meanwhile, Klopp is in the country to attend a fundraising event for the Hout Bay United Football Community (HBUFC), an initiative he has passionately supported since 2017.

According to online reports: "Klopp’s involvement with HBUFC has helped bring global attention to the cause. His heart for grassroots football and belief in its potential to change lives made him the perfect figure to help fuel HBUFC’s journey."

The fundraiser, which will take place at The Bay Habour Market on March 6, will feature engaging locker room conversations with local football figure Sizwe Mbebe.

Soccer enthusiasts who attend will also be treated to an exclusive live Q&A session with the much-loved coach, allowing fans to connect with him on a personal level.

The evening will be hosted by Miss South Africa finalist, Saskia Falken and include live music by Just Jinjer frontman, Ard Matthews.

Actor and comedian Rob van Vuuren will host a live auction of special edition items, with all proceeds going to HBUFC’s ongoing work in the community.

Tickets are R2000 and are available on Quicket. Doors will open at 5pm with a bar and food stalls available before the program starts.
