The grape harvest season at Vergelegen wine estate is finally drawing to a close, and what better way to celebrate than with a rustic feast in a beautiful new secret venue at this 325-year-old Somerset West farm?

Offering fine wine and exceptional food, this exclusive event takes place on Sunday April 13, from 4pm to 8.30pm.

With just 60 seats available, guests will gather at the Wine Tasting Centre before embarking on a scenic ride in farm vehicles to a picturesque vineyard setting. Here, they’ll sip on bubbles, savour gourmet canapés, and even hand-pick their own grapes.

As the sun sets, the journey continues to a hidden pop-up venue, where two long harvest tables will be set for a lavish farm-style feast. The Ceekay acoustic cover band will provide live music as guests indulge in artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, homegrown vegetables, dessert and a selection of Heritage Range wines.

The meal will be served family-style, ensuring a warm, relaxed atmosphere. Book at vergelegen.co.za/event/vergelegen-live-music-harvest-feast
