Siya Kolisi has once again captured everyone's hearts with the most precious moment.
After the Springboks defeated Wales in Cardiff on Saturday, the country’s most beloved captain did what he always does.
He took his time walking around the stadium, greeting fans, smiling, shaking hands and simply soaking in the love.
Then something extraordinary happened.
A baby wearing the tiniest Springbok top was gently handed toward Kolisi.
Without hesitation, he reached out, cradled the little one with the softest care, and then held him up high.
The entire scene felt like a real-life version of that iconic moment in “The Lion King” when Rafiki lifts Simba for the world to see.
Siya later shared the video on his TikTok page with the caption, “Great meeting Baby Ant.”
The proud dad, Charlie Thornton Dibb, posted the moment as well, showing how he and his family waited patiently for Kolisi to come close enough so they could pass over their bundle of joy.
His clip played over the classic “Circle of Life” track, making the moment even more emotional.
One person commented, “Captain holding the future Captain!!!” and honestly, the internet agreed.
Kolisi, who is a dad of two, has never shied away from showing love to his supporters.
He always makes time for the fans who show up in massive numbers around the world.
No matter where the Springboks play, the green and gold army is there.
Saturday marked the final match of an action-packed season for the squad.
A season that once again reminded everyone why this team is widely regarded as the greatest rugby team in the world.
Kolisi, who has 103 caps and has led the Springboks to two back-to-back Rugby World Cup victories, continues to stand tall as one of the most loved global icons.
Moments like this just make the world love him even more.
