Lebogang 'The Funny Chef' Tlokana's sweet surprise: baby on the way!

South African content creator and comedian Lebogang “The Funny Chef” Tlokana is entering her “mom era” as she announced on social media that she is expecting her first child.

Tlokana is known to keep her life private, but shocked fans with her exciting new chapter of her life as she shared beautiful carousel images from her pregnancy photoshoot, revealing her growing baby bump.

She shared a heartfelt message dedicated to her baby and wrote: “To my little human child, I chose a suit instead of a dress because mommy’s very different and eccentric … See, mommy’s always the odd one out and you’re going to love that about me.”

She added, “And you know what? I’m going to love you till I draw my last breath. I didn’t think I’d meet you this soon … I didn’t even think I’d meet you at all … yet here we are, my little one … here we are.”

Tlokana added that her baby is the beginning of almost everything, from unconditional love, happiness, faith and her existence.

“You are the beginning of everything, the beginning of unconditional love, unconditional happiness and unconditional faith. You are My Genesis … The beginning of my existence. I Love You.”

Known for her humility and delicious cooking recipes online, many were stunned to see her post about her pregnancy. 

However, the news was warmly received by her fans online who expressed as much excitement as she is and her comment section was flooded with congratulatory messages from fans and industry colleagues alike.

“Congratulations, gorgeous. That is one lucky child getting you as a mom,” actress and TV presenter, Salamina Mosese, commented.

Actress Rosemary Zimu wrote: “Congratulations, mommy chef.”

While Tlokana’s best friend and DJ, Lamiez Holworthy, said, “I love you and our little one so much. So blessed to experience all God’s blessings with you.”

She has certainly made a name for herself in the entertainment industry and is known for her versatility as a comedian, chef and TV presenter, who has graced our screen on Mzansi Magic’s “Our Perfect Wedding”.

Over the years, she has managed to build herself a solid fanbase through her relatable yet funny content that will leave you in stitches.
