DJ Zinhle has spoken out after Seemah, co-host of the “Spreading Humours” podcast, called her husband, Bongani “Mörda” Mohosana, a “dog” during a recent episode.
This comes after social media blogger Musa Khawula accused Mörda of cheating on DJ Zinhle with a 22-year-old woman named Kimberly, who reportedly works at a Johannesburg club.
The rumour has been circulating online for days, sparking mixed reactions from fans.
On Monday’s episode of “Spreading Humours”, Seemah shared her thoughts on the allegations, saying she once believed Mörda was a decent man before adding, “You look at him and you think Zinhle won kanti yinja (he’s a dog).”
DJ Zinhle, who has largely avoided addressing the drama until recently, took to TikTok to express her disappointment over Seemah’s comment.
Speaking to her followers, she said she had been trying to ignore all the negativity on social media but felt deeply hurt this time.
“I’ve actually been trying to ignore all the stuff that’s been happening on social media, the disrespect that comes with it. But let me tell you, nothing hit me harder than someone calling my husband inja,” she said.
The DJ and entrepreneur added that what hurt her the most was knowing Seemah personally.
“I think the thing that punished me the most about that statement was because I know the lady. I talk to her quite often on DM sometimes. I’ve bought from her business, so she could have reached out to me if she was concerned, but she went straight to TikTok to call my husband a dog,” she explained.
Before this, fans believed the “Woza” hitmaker had already responded to the cheating rumours through a video she posted online, where she spoke about choosing peace and not wanting to react to negativity.
However, that clip was not a response to the allegations as many assumed. The video was from October, weeks before the cheating claims surfaced.
In that earlier video, DJ Zinhle said she wanted to let things go and avoid public conflict. “I don’t want to fight. I don’t want conflict. I don’t want to explain myself. I just want an easy life,” she said.
Before Zinhle’s recent TikTok video, both she and Mörda subtly responded to the allegations by sharing an Artificial Intelligence (AI) video on social media.
The video showed Khawula singing along to DJ Zinhle’s hit song “Sorry”. The post was seen as their way of addressing the rumours without words.
The DJ later apologised to her supporters, saying her first reaction to the situation shouldn’t have been something negative.
“I want to apologise to you. I don’t take your support and love for granted, and I want to say thank you. You’re the only people that deserve my attention,” she said.
