Award-winning actor Wiseman Mncube has broken his silence after recent rumours claiming he impregnated another woman erupted across social media, sparking intense debate and widespread speculation.
Mncube visited "Podcast and Chill with MacG" to share his side of the story and pulled out receipts to back him up.
The "Shaka Ilembe" actor, who married his long-time bae, Nokubonga Ngobeni, in September, came under fire recently when screenshots of conversations between him and his alleged side-chick surfaced on TikTok, X and Instagram.
The messages show a woman contacting Mncube, claiming to be pregnant with his child. Soon after, Mncube released a video on social media distancing himself from the claims.
In the clip, he stated that the screenshots were entirely fabricated and created by an obsessed fan using AI-generated chat tools.
Mncube deep dived into the situation with co-host MacG and Sol Phenduka on a recent episode of their podcast.
He showcased messages from a Facebook user named Boohle Mbatha, who says that she knows the person behind the two accounts that have released the "fake" conversations.
In the Facebook messages, Mbatha says that Aaliyah (one of the fake profile users) is her friend and has been obsessed with Mncube and would always create fantasies of her and Mncube dating.
Mncube also mentioned that Aaliyah allegedly has his name and date of birth tattooed on her body. He also showed the co-hosts pictures of the ink.
He said that as soon as he saw himself trending, he immediately addressed it with his new bride.
After numerous conversations with the three account users (Moghel, Aaliyah and Mbata), Mncube realised that Mbatha is the same person behind the other two accounts as well, who have been harassing him.
"Hold on, so in other words, this girl is running three accounts, including the one that claims to be disclosing her to you (Mncube). Boohle the saviour. What a mad girl," said a shocked Phenduka.
Mncube said, "I woke up to a live stream of Moghel/Mbatha fighting. There was no mention of the child. Then the accounts were deleted."
