Musa Mseleku, the renowned reality TV star, businessman, and polygamist, has garnered praise for his impressive efforts in building his Umzumbe homestead, despite uncertainties about its future.
Recently, Mseleku shared an aerial drone video of his homestead on the picturesque KwaZulu-Natal South Coast, showcasing the extensive property that he has developed.
In the video, Mseleku proudly referred to it as “Flo’s homestead” in the caption, highlighting his commitment to creating a beautiful living space.
The footage reveals a well-manicured area filled with numerous houses and huts, reflecting the hard work he has put into this project.
At the start of season nine of the popular reality show “Uthando Nesthembu”, Mseleku expressed concerns about the upkeep of his homestead, stating that it was facing dilapidation.
He noted that there was no one available to care for the property after he bought dream homes for his three wives: Nokukhanya Yeni, Mbali Ngwabe, and Thobile Khumalo.
Mseleku revealed that the houses he constructed for them in Umzumbe remained unoccupied as the wives began filming in their new residences.
The video has sparked a lively discussion among netizens, with many expressing their thoughts in the comments.
User @yo_li6624 remarked, “Jealousy, this man has worked.”
Another commenter, @kanyamgewu, added, “The biggest mistake you made was to buy your wives townhouses. Otherwise, great job, Mthombeni.”
Supportive comments continued, with @rosette_mamasedi stating, “Musa has done good for himself and his family shem.… Flo must be proud 👏👏👏.”
User @mpali_mpali noted, “Musa really did well for himself. Not many people can attain even a fraction of this in their lifetime. Well done.”
However, not all comments were purely positive.
User @puntjussss suggested, “Can the older kids look after their mothers' houses? Each wife must make sure they take care of their houses in Mzumbe. The kids should visit Mzumbe during school holidays to bond like they used to because they miss each other.
"MaKwela will eventually stay in your main house. Everyone must make sure Mzumbe is kept alive... Mthombeni.”
As Mseleku continues to navigate the complexities of his family life and business ventures, his dedication to his homestead remains evident.
The ongoing conversation about his achievements and challenges reflects the public's interest in his life and the dynamics of polygamy in South Africa.
