Private Presley - The Ballet

Get ready for a rock ’n’ roll experience as Mzansi Ballet brings the legend of Elvis Presley to life in "Private Presley - The Ballet".

This powerful reimagining is choreographed by Sean Bovim. International sensation Jorge Wade stars as the "King", capturing Elvis’s iconic charisma alongside South African Prima Ballerina Angela Revie as Priscilla.

The production dives deep into the star's complex journey, from his meteoric rise to fame and his transformative military years to the intimate heartaches of his personal life.

"Doing 'Sean Bovim's Private Presley' has been a privilege, and it is a wonderful addition to the Mzansi Ballet repertoire," says Dirk Badenhorst, director of Mzansi Ballet.

With era-perfect, striking costumes by David Hutt, this evocative ballet blends classical grace with high-energy rock ’n’ roll soul. Whether you’re a ballet enthusiast or a lifelong Elvis fan, this emotionally charged tribute is the perfect Valentine’s weekend highlight.
