Rachel Kolisi introduced her new documentary, "Falling Forward," to her followers this week, declaring, "A movement begins today."

Taking to social media to share a preview, the former rugby WAG offered a glimpse into a project that promises to be much more than a biography. It is a story of honesty, resilience and the universal experience of choosing to rise again.

In a statement shared on her new website, Kolisi explained her motivation behind the project.

"I have poured my heart into this journey, in the hopes that women everywhere can feel seen, heard, and connected. A movement begins today," she wrote.

"Falling Forward" promises a rare, intimate look at the defining seasons of Kolisi’s life, spanning identity, loss, motherhood and healing. However, the statement clarified that the documentary is not an exposé on her divorce from Springbok captain Siya Kolisi or public speculation.

Instead, it focuses on her internal evolution and the "quiet strength that has guided her forward".

"We all fall. But how we choose to move forward is what defines us," Rachel says in the statement.

"It invites women to reflect on their own journeys, recognise their strength, and remember that forward motion often begins long before we feel ready."

Rachel will take the documentary on a national roadshow in March 2026. Screenings are scheduled for Makhanda, Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town, allowing audiences across South Africa to witness the story firsthand.

The announcement has already sparked a wave of support online. Fans have praised Kolisi for her willingness to be vulnerable.

"Watching Rachel speak her truth reminded me that healing doesn’t always look graceful🙏 sometimes it’s raw, trembling, and real. And yet, that’s where the beauty is🙏🔐 In the trembling. In the truth. In the choosing to rise, even while still mending💭✨ @rachelkolisi I’m inspired 🙏🌱."

"But every step forward is a step in the right direction. One day, you will look back and see how far you have come. We are so proud of you, Rachel."
