Grammy-nominated artist Mörda gifts his parents a new house

"Surprise!" That was the word that echoed in the ears and stirred the emotions of Mörda's parents as he presented them with a new home on Sunday.

Bongani Mohosana, better known as Mörda, his wife, DJ Zinhle, relatives, some friends, and the media were present for the heartfelt moment when the Grammy-nominated artist and music producer surprised his parents.

Fans of Mörda also caught some of the family's affair, as some of the happenings were shared on social media.

The video that was circulated drew many reactions.

In the video, Mohosana is seen arriving at the house with his parents, while his wife, DJ Zinhle, walked alongside her mother-in-law, gently guiding her inside the yard.

They took slow steps into the yard, with Mohosana's parents unaware of what they were walking into. Ready and waiting were relatives and friends, already positioned inside the property to join in the celebration.

Videographers stood by as confetti burst into the air, and everyone shouted, “Surprise!” Mohosana’s mother immediately became emotional, covering her face as the reality of the moment sank in.

Happiness was etched on the faces of Morda’s parents when they caught sight of the house. Tears of joy flowed freely for his mother, while his father called his son by his clan names.

DJ Zinhle took to Instagram to share the moment with her followers, with pictures from the happening.

“A huge congratulations and blessings to the Mohosana family on their new home. @murdahbongz, you did it! God bless you. This is big,” she wrote.

Mohosana and DJ Zinhle’s industry peers and fans filled the comment section with congratulatory messages.

“A beautiful woman at heart. The Mohosanas are blessed to have a daughter-in-law like you, mama,” said @queenann_sewela. 

Kaylakimkay added: “Such a beautiful thing to be able to witness you do this for your parents! You guys are blessed to be a blessing!”
