2025 Extreme Santa Ana winds cause devastating wildfires across Los Angeles, including the Palisades, Eaton and Hurst fires, causing tens of thousands to evacuate, burning over 16 000 structures and killing 29 people. Some people claim they happened because God had been mocked during The Golden Globes film and TV awards ceremony – a major event in Hollywood’s awards season – others that they were the result of sacrificing safety and the fire department’s budget to the gospel of virtue signalling and woke religion by the mayor and the state governor.
