Paul O'Sullivan hasn't won too many friends online – if any.

Many X users were appalled by Paul O’Sullivan’s behaviour before the Parliamentary Ad Hoc Committee. This is a selection of the comments:
@MzamoDudula Paul O’Sullivan really woke up one day and decided to be a one-man state institution. Police matters, Parliament drama, corruption cases, all handled between coffee and WhatsApp voice notes. No fancy degrees, just pure conviction and main-character energy.
@Thokza2 We are not respected enough as a country! This is just bullsh$t of a system that allows such mediocre to do as he pleases.
@uMaster_Sandz The nauseating part is that ANC allowed it to happen.
@kagisoKB_72 With no police training but successful trained state President and other reservist.
@Juffrou_KaYdii Even at this moment he is busy telling the Ad Hoc Committee how they should conduct themselves.
@AdvoBarryRoux Imagine the outcry if Paul O’Sullivan, who captured elements of the SAPS, was Nigerian or Zimbabwean. There would likely be loud calls about ‘foreign interference’ & national security. But because he is white, very few people frame him as a ‘foreigner.’
@esomolekae Paul O’Sullivan probably enjoys the immunity from all these things, as direct order from the highest office in the land. I still feel his lavish lifestyle and the secluded details about him are because he is a beneficiary of apartheid..
@ShweleNgelosi White privilege on full display! Lost count how many jobs this man had, but zero qualifications? Pilot, border control. Paul O’Sullivan is a jack of all trades!
@NoedineM These are the people who speak to Black people about merit! Always highlighting the ‘need’ for Blacks to be subjected to constant training, certifications, qualifications...all a barrier to entry, which doesn’t apply to them.
@collen_sambo2 Put South Africa first .What’s your view on Paul O’Sullivan? He’s also a foreigner or your hate only applies to Africans?
@misumuzi_4 Honourable James ... she came prepared with proof to demonstrate that Paul O’Sullivan has been eating the slush funds!
@Princymthombeni South Africans are under no obligation to accept Paul O’Sullivan’s constitution. We have every right to demand amendments, especially when it’s clear the people were never the primary consideration during its drafting.
