Distant Wars Rarely Stay Distant

Many people, particularly in our country, are unlikely to feel greatly concerned about the latest US-Israel conflict with Iran.

The prevailing attitude seems to be: “It’s not our war.” Like Alfred E. Neuman of Mad Magazine fame, the response is often: “What, me worry?”

There has been far too little protest against what many see as the ongoing injustice in the region – the occupation in the West Bank, the pressure placed on Iran to abandon any means of self-defence, and the broader imbalance in the conflict. Little is written about the position of a single country facing intense hostility from powerful Western alliances, including NATO members such as the US, Britain, and others.

Iran, supporters argue, has endured severe sanctions, embargoes, and boycotts that have left ordinary citizens struggling with shortages of basic goods. At the same time, it has been drawn yet again into a confrontation even while negotiations were under way with its adversaries. In this view, Iran stands largely alone, surrounded by Arab states that critics say have aligned themselves with American strategic interests in the region.

For now, many people remain unconcerned. But if this conflict drags on, as the wars in Gaza and Ukraine have, its effects will be felt far beyond the Middle East. Rising oil prices would quickly translate into higher fuel costs, increased food prices, and a broader rise in the cost of living worldwide.

In the end, the consequences may remind us that distant wars rarely remain distant for long. | Ebrahim Essa Durban

Elites, Scandal and Public Trust

We must keep talking about the Epstein files.

We do not have to read the entire 3 million pages of the Epstein files to know that the political, economic, and media leaders of the world are mostly evil and dangerous people.

They hate Judaism, Christianity, and Islam and pretend to care about regular people.

They are masters of deception who speak loudly of women’s and children’s rights whilst they drug, rape, and murder innocence on private islands and security estates.

For example, Lord Mandelson and Prince Andrew were rubbish long before the Epstein files.

We now know that many American political, business, and social leaders are blackmailed by depraved Zionists who baited them into some action of depravity.

Whilst ordinary Jews, Christians, Muslims, White, Brown, and Black people are deceived into hate of the other, our collective enemy feeds on our gullibility and taxes.

Harvey Weinstein and P. Diddy were raping the most beautiful women for decades, while they were celebrated by millions as examples to emulate via the Oscar and Grammy Awards.

We can conclude that the same people instigate violence and warfare so that they can traffic women and children. War is a tool to access resources and the physical bodies of innocent people, just like in the time of slavery.

The killing of innocent people must stop. We must continue to hold those accountable who believe they exist above the law. This is necessary to ensure that the future of humanity is not controlled or managed by mass-murdering dictators who turn innocent people against each other, just because they lack a moral centre. | Yagyah Adams Cape Muslim Congress

He Deserves Credit for Ending Tyranny

Examples of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) are on full display now that the conflict in Iran is the hot news issue. Thyagaraj Markandan provides a thorough account of how TDS determines his perceptions on the subject.

TDS #1: “Iran had not attacked the US or posed any imminent threat.” Chief US negotiator, Steve Witkoff, disclosed on Fox News, March 3, that the Iranian delegation had stated its possession of 11 nuclear bombs ready to go. Intel sources showed that Iran was going to strike first. On that basis, Trump ruled that the US was not going to wait for nuclear blackmail and that it was imperative that the US struck first.

TDS #2: “Trump chose Iran because it posed a threat to US interests and its fall would boost his image.” As the world’s foremost promoter and funder of terrorism, Iran has been an international threat for decades. Its slogan ‘death to America’ has rightly ensured that it has been front and central in Trump’s Middle East focus shaped by his Abraham Accords initiative. Seeking kudos has never motivated Trump. Doing what is right and necessary is his only motivation.

TDS #3: “Trump couldn’t let a small power compete with the US for supremacy in the Middle East.” Regardless of its size, Iran has been the destabilizing menace in the region not only by its funding of terrorist groups but also by its Islamic extremism. The fact that the Arab world has declared its support for the Trump Administration’s destruction of the Khamenei regime means that besides being a “thorn in the West’s flesh,” as Markandan correctly states, it was also a thorn in the flesh of the Arab world.

TDS #4: “No matter how repressive the Ayatollah regime was, the US bully violated international law and set the Middle East ablaze.” If international law amounted to anything, how does Markandan glibly pass over the tens of thousands of Iranians murdered? The Trump Administration gave Khamenei ample warnings and opportunities to negotiate. Despite the blaze that is engulfing the Khamenei regime, there is a virtuous blaze of solidarity among Arab states for the Israeli-US initiative to annihilate the root cause of violence and repression based in Tehran.

TDS #5: “Who will punish Trump the warmonger?” Trump adheres to George Washington’s doctrine that ‘there is nothing so likely to produce peace as to be prepared to meet the enemy.’ Peace through strength is the Trump Administration’s maxim, which has already compiled a record of abating tensions and conflicts. It is also the reason he should have been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.

TDS #6: “Khamenei defied the US and paid the price.” No, Mr Markandan, Khamenei defied every aspect of human rights, respect, and dignity; he defied efforts to mediate and negotiate; he ruled with defiance and brutality. He defied the world for 36 years. For taking the decision to end his tyranny, Trump deserves credit. | DR DUNCAN DU BOIS Bluff
