Ferrari fans have been left red-faced.

Yesterday’s beginning of the 24-race Formula One season began badly for Ferrari when they were outclassed by Mercedes in the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne. Fans were upset:
GazzettaFerrari Charles Leclerc: “…unfortunately we seem to be at a disadvantage, especially compared to Mercedes, who look very, very strong.” “I don’t think they showed their full potential on low fuel, but with higher fuel loads they were really impressive.”
@aquemaniac Lewis matched the Mercedes time. Sounds like a Leclerc issue.
@emyiaa06 Lewis or Charles won’t compete for much lol if Merc and McLaren are that far ahead lol.
@Jack_Raskal Another year of disappointments ahead. Ferrari turning top team budgets and facilities into middle of the pack results once again.
@TinoZaza_ Charles Leclerc turning a fourth-place start into the lead by Turn 1 shows exactly why Ferrari spent the winter refining their launch systems under the new hybrid regs – when the front-runners all went up in smoke from excessive wheelspin, he was the only one who kept the traction. Reminds me of Schumacher’s 1996 starts when everyone else was still figuring out grooved tyres.
@Hawkagesama That was the slowest starting lap I’ve ever seen.
@gc_0719 Hamilton set the fastest lap.
@richparker222 So you start bad because your battery wasn’t ready? That’s not racing.
@HoodiGarland Ferrari just threw the win away for Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton.
@phume22 Ferrari really drank us. What the hell man!
@b96727 Maybe I saw a different race, but I honestly think Ferrari’s strategy wasn’t the worst because even if they pit at the same time as the Mercs or before, the outcome would’ve remained the same.
@07reddevilz Mercedes are going to be faster, Ferrari looked competitive but some poor decisions didn’t help. Max as always while not interested still managed to almost break into the Top 6 from way back.
