Soccer fans were again disappointed with the Bafana Bafana team’s display on Tuesday, questioning the team’s selection.
@Sibonelo_Mbeje So you are not gonna mention the fact that Mudau cost us in both games?
@tidisoccer Mudau had a horrible game. I think it’s the fatigue kicking in, but at least we know his level.
@Linux_Argus It’s the Bafana system. Modiba and Mudau thrive more as attacking wingbacks.
@joemulapha The second goal – where was Mudau?
@MsandraSandza Never… Mudau had a poor first touch there.
@SibekoMpini Mudau needs to be dropped from the team. He is too casual on the field.
@MakhosiMnguni1 The structure at Sundowns may work with the opponents they play. But at international level, the space left by the fullbacks gets punished dearly. Mudau and Modiba are useless in defence. All they know now is to go forward aimlessly and expose the central defenders.
@ThaBigMBro Just last week he drained us with his brother Mudau.
@le_sundowns We need to cover for Mudau, play him with Morena on the right. Hugo doesn’t like Lorch, let’s just forget. On the left-hand side, Modiba has been doing well with the assist of Mathews, as he can track back to assist in defence. I still prefer Grant over what I’ve seen so far.
@AgneKwena Mudau, on the other hand, lacks creativity when surging forward. He would give us absolutely nothing when we chase the game. We are in trouble with these Sundowns’ fullbacks.
@scott_dlamuka Sithole and Hlongwane must stay in their teams. Bring Lorch and give Mbatha more game time. I’m also sceptical about Modiba these days. He and Mudau are getting too comfortable.
@_reekee Modiba decided to outdo Mudau by costing us two goals last night. A bunch of 30-year-old Madalas have run out of steam.
