The appearance of NCC leader Fadiel Adams in a Pinetown court where a video of him mocking police was played got virtual tongues wagging:
@athenkosi591 NCC leader Fadiel Adams is made to watch his own videos while confidently addressing the media that he is not scared of SAPS and all. Look at him now in court, cry baby of note.
@Moetapelepele The problem is social media can make you a hero, but when the law processes you no one is there to celebrate with you.
@PhistoMshini4 This one is just being taught a lesson ... that he must just shut up... they might not sentence him eventually.
@Xhosa_Version These guys thought they were the cartels, but were only pushing drugs in the streets and are nothing same as Cat.
@Miz_Ruraltarain Fadiel Adams talked himself out of a simple walk-in-the-park bail and straight into a high-stakes legal nightmare. By turning a routine Schedule 1 charge into a public ego war—insulting the PKTT and openly defying the judiciary—he gave the state all the ammunition they needed to paint him as an unhinged flight risk. It is the ultimate political backfire: a lawmaker sitting in a cell because he thought social media bravado could override the rule of law.
@SokisiOfficial He was getting away with this in Cape Town, now he is finding out the hard way.
@ntsiemmoko13 He was hiding behind parliamentary residential walls.
@Constitution_94 All the video clips played in court prove that Fadiel Adams is being persecuted by thugs. There is no case against him! Those who are cheering the PKTT’s behaviour here will one day come back to condemn the PKTT thuggery. PKTT bosses are just angry that Fadiel Adams spoke publicly about his hatred of Dumisani Khumalo and Nhlanhla Nkhwanazi. Why is Dumisani Khumalo not suing Fadiel Adams if he thinks Adams’ views were defamatory! Why use a criminal court for a civil case?
@DeeDavisto No, Fadiel Adams committed a crime... he first lied that he was on a parliamentary visit when that was not the truth. The truth is he was there to dig up something that he thought would stick against PKTT, Khumalo and Mkhwanazi. He is not gonna win this fight, he picked the wrong people.
@nkosanangwenya Being loudmouthed yet you have no solid evidence to back you up will always land you in trouble. I hope that’s the lesson that Fadiel Adams has learnt. He went on a witch-hunt unprovoked and I wonder what his intended end game was.
@welcomedw He is being used by the cartels to find dirt on PKTT and the good cops.
@D_Molatoli Remember him excitedly saying to Sakina Kamwendo when he came to the first court appearance of General Masemola: “Today the chickens are coming home to roost...”
