A vigil is scheduled to take place in Hillcrest on Thursday in memory of a Durban woman found dead aboard a luxury yacht in the Bahamas in July.
Paige Bell, aged 20, worked as a stewardess aboard the super yacht, Far From It. Her lifeless body was found on July 3.
At the time, IOL reported that Royal Bahamas Police Force said police were alerted to the scene and once aboard, officers discovered a female unresponsive with visible signs of injuries and a male suffering from severe injuries to his arms.
The local doctor visited the scene, examined the victim and pronounced her deceased.
A fellow crew member, aged 40, was charged with Bell's murder and is due to appear in a court in the Bahamas on Thursday - the same day at the vigil.
Bell's family has asked that all those who attend the event wear yellow in her honour.
The vigil is set to start at 3pm.
