The age of legal alcohol consumption in South Africa could shift from 18 to 21 years. That's if Trade and Industry Minister Rob Davies's proposed amendments to the National Liquor Act are approved.
The ammendments were introduced in Parliament on Tuesday.
In light of what is commonly known as OcSober, where people challenge each other to stay sober during the month of October, as well as the proposed amendments, we asked people what they feel should be the legal age to consume alcohol.
