WATCH: Fuel2Grow hosts Battle of the Wits

On Saturday Fuel2Grow, a local child-focused fundraising initiative by NGO, Ikamva Labantu, took over the amphitheater at the V&A Waterfront to host a star-studded Battle of the Wits.

The gameshow featured celebrities; Katlego Maboe (MC), Michael Mol, Zolani Mahola, Danilo Acquisto and Africa Melane who went up against pupils from schools in Cape Town in an extreme general knowledge battle.

The aim of the day was to raise funds for the Fuel2Grow campaign which currently provides support for 150 children in Gugulethu through meals; school uniforms and stationery; additional support at home, at their schools and in their communities; and aftercare that includes sports, art activities and equipment; primary health screenings and academic support.
