A new study published in The Lancet shows a clear link between Israeli aid restrictions in Gaza and 54,600 pre-school-aged children estimated to be acutely malnourished.

A survey of the mid-upper arm circumference (MUAC) of children aged 6-59 months was carried out in 16 UN health centres and 78 medical points across the five governorates of Gaza.

The findings draw a direct correlation between rising levels of preventable malnutrition and severe aid restrictions and blockades orchestrated by the Israeli government.
