@joy_zelda What an actor! From Season 1 to Season 2 This guy has proved many wrong he killed his character as Shaka. He must be nominated for an SAFTAS award Lemogang Tsipa #ShakaiLembeS2 #shakailembemzansi
@zenopetersen Thank you everyone. Productions like this is only possible because of your support – Till next time. #ShakaiLembeS2 #shakailembemzansi
@BhekiHlengwa1 South African television at its best. Sundays will never be the same. You kept us glued to our screens, whether on the entertainment or the educational side. YOU NAILED IT!
@Paballo_maseko_ One thing about #ShakaiLembeS2: It showed us why certain things are how they are. @Mzansimagic, Shaka stopping the boys at the initiation school to come fight during the war is the reason why Zulu people don’t go to initiation school to this day!
@Inkosazana_th True hey, and it looks like Season 3 may show us a few things about the early trade and land settlements for the Brits....
@Khethukuth51064 In 2009 the late King Zwelithini kaBhekuzulu rolled back that tradition. I know this because I was one of the people who went to his Enyokeni Palace to become a new regiment. Sabuthwa and I was there. To this day, Zulu people circumcise.
@Jabu_Macdonald #ShakaiLembeS2: They carried the season so well and delivered outstanding performances.
@Ronewa_Mathephe Dear @Mzansimagic: Can we get a spin off show, about Mzilikazi kaMashobane’s journey. #ShakaiLembeS2
@MbazimaThomason Zulu rituals. Strategy. Music. Language. Shaka iLembe didn’t just tell a story – it brought our ancestors to the screen with respect & pride. This is how you preserve culture and make it global.
@Thembi_Bal1 #ShakaiLembeS2 truly brought our heritage to life. The way it honoured the Zulu and other cultures – from rituals to music – it was truly breathtaking. @MzansiMagic, you’ve done our ancestors proud.
@iNdlovukaaz Can we give uWiseman, aka uNdwandwe, a standing ovation. Aybo he killed this role!
