KZN police commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi’s submissions on Day 3 of the Madlanga Commission sparked varying views among X users:

@Dlulane_BongaM South Africans are so hungry for a hero, they think anything Mkhwanazi says is fact, instead of allegation.

@Thokoza88288017 Already two allegations made by Gen Mkhwanazi have been CONFIRMED! 1. The letter that was sent by the City of Joburg to Bheki Cele. 2. Rafadi’s link to Matlala, Rafadi has confirmed their business relationship.

@yenziwendlovu Since you can prove whatever General Mkhwanazi said isn’t factual. Head to the Commission and bring your counter facts it’s that simple.

@Floatingon13803 Speak for yourself bro. The rest of us just want a proper functioning country where law and order rules , not shady politicians or mafias. It’s not that hard to understand.

@WilyAnalytics SAPS is useless, until it’s you they are after. Give it time, he did say it’s only a briefing, which part of that did you not understand.

@KMchuba Not quite, we are hungry for better living conditions. Access to public health services, education, cheaper electricity, clean water, free from corruption & crime, free from poverty, free public broadcaster, etc. Anyone who is putting up against these ills will b supported by SAns.

@KingsleyDlamin2 Can those who have means, the resources to investigate and expose this arrogant racist Paul O’Sullivan do so please. We are glad that Gen Mkhwanazi has filled a R5m defamation case against this bastard. We need more. There is clearly a link between O’Sullivan, Sibiya and minister.

@MatsepeHloni I’m not surprised. Lieutenant-General Mkhwanazi mentioned that some media houses are controlled by state and criminals to protect wrong doing. We see you.

@kabayeji87924 These people were singing praises of hearsay evidence at the Zondo Commission as if there’s evidence today General Mkhwanazi comes with evidence they deny that evidence as if they’re expert in criminal investigations. This media is biased.

@Meshack41452274 Our South African problems don’t need managers. We need leaders. Leaders are born. Managers are educated, trained fellows like General Mkhwanazi. WE DO NOT HAVE LEADERSHIP UNDER ANC GOVERNMENT. We have managers who end up being corrupt due to a lack of leadership.

@maJiyane26 We’re not thinking anything else but discussing a way forward for Lieutenant-General Mkhwanazi statements. Just wondering if mob justice can work on politicians and corruption police officers... Let the public judge and deal with them. Courts will be a waste of money!

@lingashoniFaith The only reason they casting doubt on Mkhwanazi is because he implicated DA and ANC. If he had mentioned Malema do you think they would be saying all this?
