Zandile Dabula, not the sharpest tool in the shed?

X users are largely dumbfounded that Operation Dudula President Zandile Dabula doesn’t know what Frontline States are, much less the role they played in the Struggle
@Sinawo_Thambo One of the frontline states which gave us safe haven when we fought the evil Apartheid Regime, was Mozambique. Let us never allow fools to divide what was born out of blood and solidarity. Long live Samora Machel! Long Live Eduardo Mondlane!
@daddyhope Wow, the president of Dudula is as daft as a brick. I cannot imagine that someone who wants to be a politician, enter politics, and lead people in South Africa does not know what the Frontline States means or what they stood for. This is exactly why I always encourage young people to read and to read widely, with depth not just to chant empty slogans rooted in ignorance. For those who did not know, the Frontline States were a coalition of southern African countries that supported the liberation movements fighting against colonialism and apartheid in the region. They were a precursor to what later became SADC, and their solidarity played a crucial role in the liberation of countries such as Zimbabwe, Namibia, Mozambique, and South Africa itself.
@Ngozmans At the end of the day, you foreigners must go back to fix your Zimbabwe, wena Hopewell you have the comfort here in Joburg you can’t even go to visit your home because of being coward and busy entertaining Mzansi’s affairs instead of focusing on how to fix your death country.
@Lindo_MnisiZandile Dabula @0perationDudula was wrong for not saying “I don’t know what the Frontline States were, but I’ll check it out and respond.” There is nothing wrong with not knowing. Pretending to is wrong. However, that still doesn’t take away anything from her. She remains a good patriot of South Africa and must be supported as she continues to put herself out there for the greater good of the citizens of South Africa who must be prioritised in South Africa, because they won’t be prioritised anywhere else on the world.
@kiri451 This is the staff you learn in social sciences. It’s part of SA history. For a person who is referred to as a president of an organisation this is very embarrassing.
@simmyskye It’s hilarious how you defend ignorance just for the sake of looking patriotic and treating barbarism as an emblem of “freedom politics”.
@ChikomoPrazen It's for this reason why father Amilcar Cabral said “ Demand from responsible Party members that they dedicate themselves seriously to study, that they interest themselves in the things and problems of our daily life and struggle in their fundamental and essential aspect, and not simply in their appearance. "Learn from life, learn from our people, learn from books, learn from the experience of others. Never stop learning.” Amílcar Cabral, Tell No Lies, Claim No Easy Victories: Selected Speeches and Writings of Amílcar Cabral, 1965.
@Tech_linkz I am disappointed in your take because you are often more critical in your takes. She didn’t know the term, had he expanded she might have had better response. In Africa, and the world in general, there are 2 types of politicians: Those who study it and those who fight/ground forces. In all political fights there will be these 2 groups, and the pendulum of voters will swing between them. Your take is wrong in this case to want to focus on a term that has become a “jargon” in a continent that is fighting economic freedom and not democracy as before.
