Democrats the party of un-Americans

Developments in America these days show that there are two types of Americans: democratic Americans and un-Americans.

The attempt by Democratic governors to sue the Trump administration for nutritional shortages occurring because of the government shutdown provides a case in point.

The Democrats are responsible for the month-long shutdown because their demands for free medical aid for illegal aliens and a $1.5 trillion increase in the debt are what 77 million Americans voted against when they voted for Trump last November.

Besides that, Democrats have absolutely no claim to masquerade as defendants of the poor when on MSNBC one of their congresswomen stated that the ongoing shutdown provides them with “leverage.” In other words, politically it suits the Democrats to keep the government shut.

A more callous stance by a political party is difficult to imagine which is why the Democrats are the un-American party.

Their true colours are also boldly evident by their outright support of Antifa and riotous elements in Chicago and Portland to defend criminal illegal aliens in the face of the posting of Federal agents sent there to remove the illegals and to restore law and order.

Of course, the ultimate crown the un-American Democrats now wear is that of the party of socialism. The glaring support of House minority leader Hakeem Jeffries, NY Governor Hochul and the ‘squad,’ as the far left wing of the Democrats is called, for the communist Democrat candidate for mayor of NYC makes that very clear.

From this, it is apparent that RFK jnr and Tulsi Gabbard’s exit from the Democrat party last year was timely and justified. Now they serve in the real American, democratic, transparent, accountable administration Trump has established. | DUNCAN DU BOIS Bluff

Accountability needed in SAPS

THE ongoing revelations at both the Madlanga commission and parliament’s ad hoc committee are mind-blowing.

It shows how deep-rooted criminality has infiltrated the SAPS. The corruption has even extended to other judiciary arms like the NPA and judges, etc. It is said the fish rots from the head and that is what these criminal cartels have targeted.

This kind of criminality is similar to what the Gupas did when they captured the state during the Zuma era which set the country back by at least 9 years. It shows how people in power can direct the way the country performs economically in their greed for wealth without earning it. All this corruption has led to the huge unemployment rate South Africa faces, aside from the hordes of undocumented foreigners.

It is said it takes two to tango, which means State employees are in cahoots with these criminals. A good example is the Tembisa Hospital corruption, where our dear Babita Deokaran paid the ultimate price, which is just the tip of the iceberg.Some people in positions of power use their authority for their own good and not for the good of the people.

These commissions will also investigate any breach of national security. One of the biggest breaches of national security was in 2013 when the Gupas landed a private jet at the Waterkloof army air base. The 300-odd passengers were even escorted to and from the Sun City wedding venue at taxpayers’ expense.
