Grounded in Spekko's Feed Your Curiosity: 7 Days 7 Ways platform, the campaign embarks on a culinary voyage through seven distinct countries—Japan, Indonesia, Morocco, Mexico, Italy, Thailand, and India. Each stop on this gastronomic journey introduces food lovers to innovative recipes that elevate rice from a simple side dish to a starring role.
Among the tantalising dishes, food enthusiasts can experiment with Temari Sushi from Japan, dive into the hearty Masoor Dal Khichdi from India, savour the creamy Risotto ai Fungi from Italy, experience the bold flavours of Pad Krapow Thai Basil Fried Chicken from Thailand, indulge in sweet Karioka Rice Balls from Indonesia, and relish the aromatic Moroccan Spiced Rice with Nuts and Mint. Each recipe is designed to inspire South Africans to unleash their creativity and experiment with rice in imaginative, unconventional ways.
While the rice itself remains unchanged—featuring premium, single-source grains from world-renowned rice growers—the modernised packaging reflects Spekko's premium identity. Available in five variants—Long Grain Parboiled, Wholegrain Brown, White Extra Long Grain, Basmati, and Jasmine Rice—the new design offers consumers a fresh perspective on an essential kitchen staple.
