DURBAN - Patriotic Alliance Deputy President Kenny Kunene has taken a swipe at DA leader John Steenhuisen while addressing his party members in Cape Town.
In a video clip posted on Twitter on Tuesday Kunene said: "We are going to make an impact. We are not a small party. How can a party that is led by giants be small? We are not small. We are big. That is why Steenhuisen can go and address the people of Cape Town, and half of his pitch, he is speaking about the green gangsters.”
“Nobody attacks you if you are not doing damage to them. The same Steenhuisen that speaks about a green gangster that ate sushi off naked women. I have a message for Steenhuisen.”
“I was slutting publicly. You slutted against your wife in private. You were sleeping around in private. You had a problem with the zip Steenhuisen.”
While Steenhuisen was leader of the party in KwaZulu-Natal in 2010, he was widely reported to have had an affair with the party’s then spokesperson which resulted in a divorce from his wife of 10 years.
“John Steenhuisen, don't start with us. By the way, I passed my matric. I am a qualified teacher. I can speak Afrikaans better than you. He does not even know his first language.”

This was while Kunene on Friday, October 1 tweeted:

The Democratic Alliance spokesperson Charity McCord said Steenhuisen would not be commenting on the matter.
