Durban - Go-carts, train rides, paintball, a beach bar with spectacular views of the Indian Ocean, a helicopter that takes you for a joy ride and plenty of family activities - these are but a few of the highlights the Blythedale Coastal Adventure Market that opened last Sunday.

This market is that offers adventure paired with a variety of vendors with fresh produce, crafts and also stalls where you will be able to find the best Christmas gifts for friends and family.

From freshly ground coffee from the coffee shop, visitors could also choose between home baked goods, artisan prepared pork belly or even a gluten free vegan meal from Chef Rum. And for the sweet tooth there were colourful ice cream macarons, filled bubble waffles or even a dessert taco.

The adults had fun at the innovative beach bar and could enjoy activities like airsoft or paintball. Gordon Graham from East Coast Radio broadcasted live from the market.

Go-carts, jumping castles and train rides kept the young ones busy. This Sunday there will also be pony rides for the kids and for the adults there will be a stall where you can have a manicure, pedicure and massage.

Parking and entrance is free. The market is at the Blythedale Events bowl and is open Sundays from 9am to 4pm.
