If you have left over pizza and want to reheat it the next day, here’s an unconventional way to do so.
Fitness coach, Bec Hardgrave, recently shared a unique method for reheating leftover pizza.
Her bizarre approach involves dunking the pizza slice in water before placing it in the air fryer.
Hardgrave claims that this technique restores the pizza to its original freshness, making it taste as if it were just bought.
In a TikTok video captioned, “It felt so wrong,” she demonstrated the hack where she submerged a slice of pizza in a bowl of water and then air-fried it for three minutes.
The result, she says, was a pizza with a crispy crust that tasted just as good as the night before.
“What the hell. It low-key tastes exactly how it tasted last night fresh from the box,” she says as she munches on her pizza.
The video quickly went viral, garnering over 70,000 views and sparked a debate among viewers.

Some were amazed by the ingenuity of the hack, while others were sceptical and even disgusted by the idea of soaking their pizza in water.
"This seems illegal" one user commented.
“WT no way. I can’t bring myself to even have soggy pizza, even knowing it’s gonna go in the air fryer. Still can’t bring my mind to even try. Normally try most things,” responded another viewer.
Another user thought it was a great idea since she tried it with sourdough bread.
“I did it with stale sourdough and wet it in the sink and baked it again and it’s fresh again,” she wrote.
Others shared their methods that they say work for them.
“I use a frypan and after heating the base of the pizza a bit, place a little bit of water in and put the lid on. Creates steam and melts the cheese,” was one person's advice.
Another said, “Damp paper towel in the microwave works well too.”
