Despite the challenges faced by the retail sector with the emergence of e-commerce, brick-and-mortar stores remain a vital part of the retail landscape.
Under this backdrop, global sportswear brand Under Armour this weekend opened its 19th store at the Pavilion Shopping Centre in Durban.
The brand invited influencers, sports enthusiasts to the launch.
Among their guests was digital creator Ridwan Canthitoo who described Saturday’s opening as “a vibe”.
“I was able to create content in such a fun way. The tech fleece jackets were beautiful and a few sneakers as well and I think it is really something Durbanites can enjoy.”
Another Durban based influencer Monique Delport, (@being maddies & charlies mom), had fun with her husband and toddler daughter trying on the trainers on offer.
She posted about a pink sneaker which her firm favourite.
Among the guests was professional soccer player Kwinda Netshitangani, who plays for JDR Stars Football Club, posted on Instagram:
