Well known clothing brand, Diesel has shown its support for the LGBTQ+ people worldwide and created a Pride collection.
The brand launched its first-ever capsule collection that celebrates the LGBTQ+ community in the beginning of October, which is also known as Pride Month in South Africa.

For this collection, the brand went for the rainbow motif, interpreting the LGBTQ+ colours as either bands, stripes or lettering.
The Pride collection has items like T-shirts, caps, briefs and more.
In partnership with its parent company’s Only The Brave Foundation, the brand has aligned with The Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative(SIGBI), the no-profit organisation that supports LGBTQ+ social initiatives worldwide, promoting tolerance and equality.

In other news, the brand recently celebrated the launch of their new SS19 collection and campaign called “Enjoy Before Returning".
The celebration took place at the new design D4D concept store in the newly renovated Fourways Mall.
Upon arrival, guests were had the ‘Wardrobing’ trend explained to them.

Wardrobing is the practice of purchasing an item, using it, and then returning it to the store for a refund.
The ‘Enjoying Before Returning’ theme was fully realised at the event, with people of interest such as Zander Opperman, Randal Ambrams, Ma Nala, Lunathi Mampofu, Melody Mfeka, and Gemnaén Jordan Taylor in attendance. There were also live performances by local DJs Shimza, Black Motion, and Oscar Mbo, and BrownPepperAnn.

The DIESEL Pride collection is available at DIESEL Sandton, Menlyn and V&A stores.
