Renault has added an extra dash of style to its Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet (CC) by offering it in 'GT Line' specification. This means that the CC, known for its retractable glass roof, now receives a series of enticing exterior and cabin appointments.

On the outside, the GT Line trim treats you to a bolder front bumper with a reshaped central air intake and an RS-style gloss black centre section. At the back, the colour-coded lower section of the bumper incorporates a contrasting aerodynamic diffuser. What's more, the mirrors, 17-inch alloy wheels, windscreen frame and cabin surround are now decked out in Dark Metal.

The theme continues inside with alloy pedals, white-faced rev counter with red indicator needles and GT Line-branded floor mats. Standard amenities include dual zone automatic climate control, cruise control, keyless entry and start, Carminat TomTom integrated navigation with live updates and a 3D Sound by Arkamys audio system with eight speakers.

The safety factor is sorted by an extensively reinforced body structure, pyrotechnic roll-over hoops, six airbags, ABS and electronic stability control

As per the GT Line hatchback, the CC is powered by Renault's 1.4-litre turbopetrol engine, which produces 96kW at 5500rpm and 190Nm at 2250prm. Renault reckons it'll bolt from 0-100km/h in 10.7 seconds, reach a top speed of 200km/h and sip 7.3 l/100km on the combined cycle.
