Johannesburg - The first edition of Clarkson, Hammond & May Live kicked off in Ireland this past weekend and anticipation is building for the South African leg of their world tour from 12 to 14 June, which is just a week away.
Due to demand, more tickets are now available and a fifth performance has been confirmed to take place on Friday June 12 at 5pm giving fans every opportunity not to miss out on the action.
As well as the motoring theatre show featuring Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May - with special guest Ken Block - the Motoring Expo will be packed with tons to see and do.
For an adrenalin rush before moving into the arena for the live show, visitors can pop over to the Autotrader Drifting area for a drifting ride in a Chevy Lumina at R150 per ride. Visitors can also witness a 20-minute stunt show from action sports junkies, XS Promotions, every two hours at no additional cost.
Red Bull’s FMX riders will perform thrilling demos throughout the weekend - including a special guest appearance from DJ Ready D.
MOTORING EXPO
The interactive features continue with test drives and displays from leading manufacturers including Ford which will bring an all EcoBoost line-up including the Fiesta ST, Focus and Focus ST.
Mahindra will be running visitor test-drives in its XUV model and showcasing more of its range with the Scorpio Game Viewer, the Genio Plus, the XUV W8 4x2, the Xylo E8 and the Scorpio Double Cab 4x4 Adventure.
The Renault team will be displaying its high-performance Megane and Clio models, and the newly-launched Captur crossover.
Kia’s entire line-up of models will be available for visitors to test-drive - from the recently refreshed Picanto and Rio, to the turbocharged Cerato Koup, hip-to-be-square Soul and evergreen Sportage.
The IBV Supercar Club will be showcasing a dazzling vehicular display of supercars.
For lovers of two-wheeled machines, the Harley-Davidson Experience Demonstration Truck will take pride of place in the Expo bringing the Harley-Davidson Experience up close and personal to visitors.
You’ve seen his antics all over YouTube in his Gymkhana video series, and now GoPro will be giving two Ken Block superfans the opportunity to meet the original Hoonigan in the flesh and smell his tyre smoke at the live show.
