For sale: one 2015 Lamborghini Huracan. Won't start.
If you've always longed to own a Lambo but couldn't afford one that's in perfect working condition, here's something that might (ahem) fire you up. It's a burnt-out Huracan that met with an unspecified fiery end, but some enterprising person has advertised it online for a price of $5 (R65) hoping it will appeal to some motoring memorabilia collector with a sense of adventure (or humour).
Although we don't think a burnt-out Ford Kuga would have quite the same appeal - there's just too many of them around - the gutted remains of an exotic Italian muscle car might make for a nice conversation piece in some petrolhead's memorabilia collection.
When it was still running this Huracan used to have a black exterior over a black interior, and a 5.2-litre V10 engine pushing out 426kW and 540Nm. It hustled to 100km/h in just 3.4 seconds and ran to a top speed of 323 km/h.
It certainly wouldn't be the weirdest thing ever sold on auction.
The top-20 list of most bizarre things ever sold on eBay includes clippings of Justin Bieber's hair (which sold for $40 668), Justin Timberlake's half-eaten sandwich ($1 025), a suit of armour for a guinea pig ($1 150), and a dorito shaped like the Pope's hat ($1 209).
