Johannesburg - In line with the global Takata airbag recall,
Mitsubishi SA has recalled 7449 Pajero SUVs in South Africa, to replace their driver’s side airbags.
The company is busy contacting owners to arrange service inspections for their cars, during which the airbags will be replaced free of charge. The whole job takes about an hour, it says.
First, however, the replacement airbag kits need to be distributed to Mitisubishi dealerships countrywide.
