Tax deadline

The deadline for submitting your income tax return on paper was December 5. If you missed this deadline, you can still submit your tax return without incurring any penalties if you submit it electronically by Friday, January 23. That means you need to use the eFiling facility ( www.efiling.co.za) of the South African Revenue Service (SARS), or visit a SARS branch and ask a consultant to help you submit an electronic return.
