Pretoria - When DJ Edit SA and his “get to the dance floor quickly” style meets InQfive’s dark keys and soothing chords, the result is the smashing new single, Expression.

With their individual stars shining, the producers and musical brothers DJ Edit SA and InQfive have teamed up to conclude what has been a successful and busy year for both of them.

Engineered by DJ Skhu, Expression is, as the title suggests –people expressing themselves irrespective of gender, race, economic status, location, etc.

The single’s artwork designed by Tiisetso Mongalo is purely South African, demonstrating the country’s pride and reputation as a rainbow nation.

It has been a busy 2022 for the DJs, producers and recording artists, who have been among those who kept the Afro House/Tech fires burning in recent years.

DJ Edit SA, the Pretoria News deputy editor – real name Kennedy Mudzuli – this year alone dropped the single Riye Riye and a three-track project titled Grace.Mercy.Peace.

In addition, he collaborated with Free State producers Da Kilms and Limm Beatz on Unity is Power.

He then joined forces with KZN duo LaErhnzo & TooZee on No Fame Vs Hustling, Hai, Semuanya and Nafurahi Kukuona (which drops in January).

InQfive, known as The Special One, dropped Peace IV a few weeks ago. The Joburg-based star also dropped the single Primo, album Deeper than Politics, Msiba EP with Dr Feel, Blood and Roses Volume 3, and several remixes.

His record label released new music by Knight Warriors, Soulic M, Academic Deep, as well as LaErhnzo & TooZee.

The collaboration between DJ Edit SA and InQfive has not always been in the making and came about purely by chance.

Music producer InQfive, known as The Special One.

In September, InQfive featured DJ Edit SA’s single Grace in his mixtape. Afterwards, his record label InQfive Music released Hai, Semuanya, by LaErhnzo & TooZee with DJ Edit SA.

It was at that moment that DJ Edit SA and InQfive started talking, and one thing led to another – and Expression was born.

Expression drops on Friday December 16, 2022 worldwide via Electromode Ingrooves, the long-standing distribution partner for DJ Edit SA Music.
