After watching Rachael “Raygun” Gunn’s attempt at breakdancing at the 2024 Paris Olympics, “The Real Housewives of Durban” reality star Jojo Robinson is certain that she will have a chance to compete in 2028.
The Australian breakdancer competed among world-class dancers during three rounds on August 9, and scored zero points from the judges.
Her performance quickly lit up the internet, with users creating a sea of memes and video spoofs, questioning everything from her outfit to her qualification.
Robinson joined in the online fun by replicating Raygun’s unorthodox routine.
Along with a video clip, she wrote on Instagram, “2028 it's a date. If you haven't seen Australia at the Olympics this year breakdancing, do yourself a favor... but I'll give it to Rachel "raygun". Her routine was actually so much harder then it looks 😂😂.”

Meanwhile, Raygun shared her thoughts on the online criticism at a press conference held on Saturday, August 10.
“I was never going to beat these girls on what they do best—their power moves,” Raygun explained.
“What I bring is creativity. All of my moves are original. Creativity is really important to me. I go out there, and I show my artistry. Sometimes it speaks to the judges, and sometimes it doesn't. I do my thing, and it represents art. That is what it is about,” she said.
According to online reports, Olympic breaking's chief judge, Martin Gilian has thrown his support behind Raygun.
“Breaking is all about originality and bringing something new to the table... and this is exactly what Raygun was doing,” he said.
Breaking, which debuted at the Paris Games, will not be on the programme for the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
