The official launch of the Royale Marlothi Kruger Lodge & Spa has revealed one of the hidden gems that travellers can explore during their stay in Mpumalanga.

This majestic safari lodge is situated in the heart of the bush in Marloth Park, a nature conservation area, which is home to game including giraffe, zebra, kudu, warthog, impala, wildebeest and many more.

The animals roam freely around the lodge and its surroundings giving guests a full safari experience

Guests are often thrilled with unbelievably close and personal encounters with wild animals, something that makes the lodge stand out.

Accommodation is offered in comfortable self-catering chalets, self-catering guest houses, luxury family hotels, luxury deluxe rooms and the newly added (non-self-catering) elegant rooms.

“We are excited to finally launch this beautiful safari lodge today. It’s been a long road and we a happy that we survived Covid-19 and managed to complete the revamp. The lodge is now ready for consumption and is open to the public, it’s a dream come true”, said Dr , Dr Azwihangwisi Bvumbi, the lodge MD.

“The lodge accommodates a total of 54 adults and 8 children. We have 4 family chalets, each with its own deck, splash pool and a braai area for your comfort and privacy.”said Bvumbi

The Royale Marlothi Kruger started in 2017 with three chalets and later expanded the establishment adding more rooms to accommodate more visitors.

For convenience and pampering, a brand-new spa was also opened to have people not relish the safari life but also indulged in a spa.

The lodge also offers a small lapa that can host events for up to 30 people.

With the communal swimming pool and braai placed nearby, visitors can have a thrilling experience.

An on-site restaurant is available to cater meals for their guests.

The spa is the biggest of its kind and offers a variety of wellness and beauty treatments such as body massages, pedicures, manicures, jacuzzi relaxation and many more. A boardroom for 10 people is also now available.

Bvumbi further spoke about their aim to employ more young people closing the gap of unemployment.

“We want to say we need your support. And we also say we are here and we are part of government.” he said.
