Liberty Productions will host its annual Muruga Saranam, a musical celebration in honour of Lord Muruga, on January 25 at 5pm at the Liberty Hall on North Coast Road in Durban.
The event, which will coincide with Thai Poosam Kavady on February 2, will feature singer Deshan Styler Naidoo. Thai Poosam Kavady marks the victory of good over evil. Devotees offer prayer, seek blessings, and renew their spiritual faith.
“This event is more than just a musical celebration. It’s an opportunity for our community to come together in faith and devotion,” said Ashlin Ellan, the public relations officer for Liberty Productions.
"We aim to create an unforgettable spiritual experience that uplifts and inspires all who attend.”
The programme will feature soulful renditions and traditional musical offerings dedicated to Lord Muruga.
